Kia Sportage 2017 1.7 D Gearbox

The customer brought the vehicle into us and was complaining of no 3rd gear. A very common issue with this type of gearbox, we found the 3rd gear synchro was broken causing the 3rd gear not to engage, the original  3rd,4th,5th,and 6th gear synchro’s on these boxes are steel and suffer regularly with breaking, we swap all these synchro’s out with brass synchro’s which do not break and it eliminates any further issues.
